THE TRUSTEES OF THE SHAWNEE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SHAWNEE, COUNTY OF POTTAWATOMIE, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SCHEDULED SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL, 9TH AND BROADWAY, SHAWNEE, OKLAHOMA, MONDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2012, FOLLOWING THE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONERS MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., PURSUANT TO NOTICE DULY POSTED AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW. UPON ROLL CALL, A QUORUM WAS DECLARED WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE:

Call to Order

Declaration of a Quorum

AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Consider approval of Consent Agenda

a. Minutes from the October 1, 2012 meeting.

A motion was made by Trustee Smith, seconded by Trustee Harrod, to approve the Consent Agenda item 1(a). Motion carried 7-0.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Consider Bids:

a. THM Analyzer (Award)

Utility Director Jim Bierd announced that one bid was received and after review and consideration it was staff’s recommendation to award the bid to Parker Hannifin Corporation of Huntsville, Alabama in the amount of $35,760.00.

A motion was made by Trustee Smith, seconded by Trustee Hall, to accept staff’s recommendation and award the bid to Parker Hannifin Corporation in the amount of $35,760.00. Motion carried 7-0.

b. Replacement Screw Pumps (Award)

Utility Director Jim Bierd announced that after review and consideration it was staff’s recommendation to award the bid to Wynn Construction Co. Inc. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the amount of $203,000.00.

A motion was made by Trustee Harrod, seconded by Trustee Smith, to accept staff’s recommendation and award the bid to Wynn Construction Co. Inc. in the amount of $203,000.00. Motion carried 7-0.
